Privacy policy

What information this site collects, what it does not, and what you can do about it.

Last updated August 2026

The short version

This is a static informational website. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not run a newsletter, we do not sell anything directly, and we do not collect payment information. We never ask for and never want your wallet address, private keys, recovery phrase, exchange credentials or financial account details.

We will never ask for your recovery phrase

No legitimate website, wallet, exchange or support desk will ever ask for a seed phrase or private key. If any site claiming to be us does, it is not us. Report it to contact@pennsylvania-crypto.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply, and we retain correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose or to maintain a correction record.

Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may record standard server log data — IP address, browser type, referring page, pages requested and timestamps — for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic measurement.

Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are read, in aggregate. Any such measurement is used to decide what to write next, not to build profiles of individuals.

Information we do not collect

  • Names, postal addresses or phone numbers (unless you volunteer them by email).
  • Payment or financial account information.
  • Wallet addresses, private keys or recovery phrases — we never want these.
  • Exchange or platform login credentials.
  • Government identification documents.
  • Sensitive personal categories such as health or biometric data.

Cookies

This site is built as static pages and does not require cookies to function. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not operate a third-party ad network.

Where third-party resources are loaded — for example web fonts — those providers may receive standard request data such as your IP address, governed by their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings without affecting your ability to read this site.

Third-party links

We link to exchanges, operators, regulators and reference sites. Once you follow a link you are on their website, subject to their privacy practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for.

Some outbound links are commercial partnerships, disclosed in our affiliate disclosure. Where a partner uses a referral mechanism, it may record that you arrived from this site. We do not receive personal information about you from those partners.

How we use information

To respond to correspondence, to operate and secure the site, to understand in aggregate which content is useful, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except where required by law or necessary to operate the site (for example, our hosting provider).

Data retention

Email correspondence is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose it was sent, or to maintain a record of a published correction. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold very little — in most cases nothing beyond an email you chose to send — such requests are usually simple to satisfy.

To make a request, email contact@pennsylvania-crypto.com.

Children

This site is intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because we collect minimal information and hold no financial data, the risk surface is small. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent to us by email.

Changes

We may update this policy. The version published here is the current one, and the last updated date appears at the top of this page.
