What to email us about

Corrections. The most useful email we receive. Fees change, machines move, operators exit markets and regulations get amended. If something on this site is wrong or out of date, tell us what and where, and we will fix it and note the change.

Local knowledge. If you know that a kiosk corridor we describe has changed, that a particular Pennsylvania bank has started or stopped flagging crypto transfers, or that a fraud script is circulating in your area, we want to hear it. Local detail is the whole point of this site.

Press and research. We are happy to talk to journalists, academics and policy staff working on Pennsylvania digital asset questions. Tell us your deadline in the first line.

Partnership enquiries. We do work with commercial partners, on terms set out in our affiliate disclosure. What we do not do is sell editorial coverage, rankings, positive reviews or the removal of unfavourable information. Those requests get a polite no.

What we cannot help with

We cannot recover lost or stolen cryptocurrency

We are not investigators and we have no ability to trace or reverse a blockchain transaction. Nobody legitimate can recover stolen crypto for an upfront fee — that offer is itself a second fraud, and it targets people at exactly the moment they are most vulnerable.

If you have been defrauded: contact the operator or platform immediately, report to your local police, and file with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection and the FBI's IC3. Keep the receipt, the wallet address, the transaction hash and the caller's number. Our scam guide covers the full sequence.

We cannot give you financial, investment, legal or tax advice. We are not licensed to, and a general information site could not do it responsibly in any case. Questions about your own circumstances should go to a Pennsylvania-licensed CPA, attorney or fee-only fiduciary adviser.

We cannot help with an account problem at an exchange or kiosk. We have no relationship with those companies' support systems. For a kiosk, the operator's number is printed on the machine and your receipt — the host store cannot help either. For an exchange, use their own support channel.

We cannot tell you what to buy. Nobody can, honestly, and anyone who does is selling something.
